1960

  • With 25 year’s experience in the apple business, Herman Michaelson purchases a controlling interest in Hudson Cold Storage & Ice Corp. of Hudson, NY.

1970

  • Herman Michaelson Inc. merges with Storm King Fruit Growers Sales Corp. to become United Apple Sales, Inc. After Herman Michaelson passes away, his son Martin Michaelson begins to operate the business

1992

  • Split from United Apple Sales, Inc. ┬áto become New York Apple Sales

2000

  • Kaari Stannard became Owner/President after the passing of Martin Michaelson.

2008

  • New York Apple Sales invests in and becomes a partner in Lake Ontario Fruit, a high-tech packaging/shipping facility in Albion, NY.

2010

  • New York Apple Sales invests in and becomes a partner with Rod Farrow in Fish Creek Orchards, an orchard operation in Western, NY.
  • New York Apple Sales invests in and becomes a partner in Pomona Packing, a high-tech packaging/shipping facility in Wolcott, NY.
